Distance clipping may occur if this option is not used. Sorry. This will not happen very often, but it is possible. If this happens, just point your crosshairs down to the water on move forward and this drops you in the water. No biggy. *BUILD INFO* Build Time: 30 hours Map Run Time: An amazing 3 minutes for a full compile, this new Dell is incredible! Utilities Used: Tread 3D v. 1.12 Arghrad for lighting http://www.planetquake.com/arghrad/ *INSTALLATION* If you get this zip file intact, follow these steps: 1. Right click on the zip file. 2. Select "Extract to...". 3. In the "Extract to:" blank, select the directory "C:\Quake2\baseq2\" 4. Under "Files", select "All files" 5. Check off "Use Folder Names" 6. Select "Extract" This should put the files in the correct folders Then to run the map, get into Quake 2, bring down your console by selecting your "`" key right above the "tab" key on your keyboard, then type in "map leray30", hit enter and this should call up my map. You can also view the file "leray zip.doc" in this zip file, which shows you how your zip should look before you extract the files. *NOTES FOR MAP* This map was created for my 1st Quake 2 Mapping Contest of 2004. When you walk over the glowing bridges, you will understand why I called this one "Leap of Faith". This map has teleporters, elevators, unique bridges and a secret teleporter room! I included a version of this map for the new Q2 MOD Awakening 2. Use the file leray30a2.bsp for this MOD. This map has every weapon, and I also added new weapons for the Awakening 2 MOD!
